How extensive is your event production knowledge and experience?
From what can be considered standard wedding, corporate and school special events - to - involvement with world class concert productions that travel through (MB, Canada) at MTS Centre such as Keith Urban, Bon Jovi and Rihanna as well as popular theatrical productions such as Stars on Ice, Disney On Ice and WE DAY. Technical support services as 'local crew - stage hands' has interlinked Great Times with some of the most modern production ideas within the mobile entertainment industry. Most importantly, it helps us to provide top notch ideas, suggestions & technical support for events we have the opportunity to become involved with.

Is set-up (Load-in / Load-out) time included in your price?
You never have to pay an additional fee for setup or load-out requirements for standard wedding, corporate and school events. For larger weddings, corporate & theme events that require extensive set up and technical management, there will be a consideration made toward load-in and load-out requirements/costs. We typically arrive many hours prior to the contracted start time or the day prior if manageable.

How far will you travel?
Primarily throughout Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Western Ontario for this 'division' of Great Times Events. Services are also provided in Alberta & BC through the office in Calgary, AB. Travel charges and accommodations may apply depending on contract agreements, event locations and distance traveled.

Do you offer a contract or written agreement?
Absolutely upon request! The contract is straightforward and written in plain English so that you can understand the terms. It is signed by both parties and offers you a high level of protection and dependability. With the contract you can be assured that there will be no hidden extra charges or surprises at your event. A signed contract and deposit officially reserves your date. Great Times Event Productions (website/network) is a tool that is used to outline the services that can be provided by Andre Genthon Sovereign under international law & jurisdiction. Bookings are secured under a contract for hire agreement. If you have any questions or concerns about the terms, just ask!

How early should we book?
Planning is KEY and timing can be everything especially during popular summer season and winter season dates! Some of the most popular dates (long-weekends and Saturdays in May, June, July & August & Sept, Oct, Nov and Dec) can book as early as one year in advance. However, depending on popularity some dates remain open and short notice requests are welcome and encouraged.

Are your rates negotiable?
As part of the initial event planning process, we work with you to determine the best services available to match your budget. You'll be presented with a very reasonable event rate that is based on the quality level of service we plan to provide at your event.

Why should I book you for our upcoming event?
Great Times Events is not a 'transactional' business. Owner, Andre Genthon Sovereign will likely be your first contact and will work with you to provide planning, support & entertainment services suitable for your event. Andre works with a focused group of entertainers, musicians, dj's and technical support individuals that have been scrutinized to assure they are highly skilled and professional. A reputable service has been provided across western Canada for over 15 years. Bookings will only be accpted if we're confident that the right entertainer/technician qualified to handle your event is available.

DJ's & Interactive Entertainers

How interactive are your entertainers and DJs?
A very familiar question! Understand that different disc jockeys and entertainers are assigned to different styles of packages. Often times when a prospective client is looking for the perfect DJ or entertainer, they search for one who fits the personality & level of interaction they're looking for. Depending on which package you choose, your disc jockey or interactive entertainer can be conservative, outgoing, or anywhere in between. By default, a Standard DJ will do a great job taking requests and playing great music, whereas a Professional DJ and Showcase DJ entertainer will be as interactive as necessary to keep your guests having a great time at your event. In any case, you will not find entertainers being immature or inappropriate with their demeanor. Even at our most outgoing level, we still remain professional.

How much should we tip our Entertainer or Dj?
Tips are not expected! However, gratuity that is paid to your entertainer for an outstanding performance is certainly appreciated.

Should we feed our DJ / Entertainer / Technician?
If you have us booked for a full day or evening event, we'll often be at your event for nine or ten hours when set-up and load-out time is considered. Most venues try to avoid the unprofessional look of having us to bring our own food or drinks. Meals are requested for your entertainment and production support technicians for full day/evening events.
